Nobody Saves the World Reveals Frozen Hearth DLC

DrinkBox Studios announces the new Frozen Hearth DLC expansion for its dungeon crawling game Nobody Saves the World.

Nobody Saves the World is the latest game from DrinkBox Studios, the team best known for its work on the Guacamelee franchise. Nobody Saves the World‘s dungeon crawling action earned mostly positive reviews at the time of its release earlier this year, with DrinkBox improving the experience in subsequent updates that addressed bugs and even added a local co-op mode.

The Nobody Saves the World local co-op update was greatly appreciated by fans, and soon they will have even more to check out in the game. As announced by IGN, Nobody Saves the World is getting a special DLC expansion on September 13 across all platforms called Frozen Hearth. Retailing for $4.99, the Nobody Saves the World Frozen Hearth DLC, players gain access to a brand-new underground area.

While exploring this new underground area in Nobody Saves the World, players will find themselves participating in an event called The Tempering, which consists of various “puzzles and challenges.” Some of these puzzles and challenges are on full display in the Frozen Hearth DLC trailer, so fans can take a look at what the expansion has in store for them when it launches on September 13.

Players will be able to utilize the Nobody Saves the World forms that they unlocked in the base game while going through The Tempering, but they will also have access to two new forms as well. According to IGN, the new Nobody Saves the World forms are the Killer Bee and Mechanic. Both forms are on display in the Frozen Hearth trailer, so Nobody Saves the World fans can see what they’re like in action ahead of the September 13 launch.

Besides new forms and challenges, there should be a lot more for Nobody Saves the World fans to look forward to come Frozen Hearth‘s September 13 launch. While it’s unclear exactly how large this new underground area will be compared to the Nobody Saves the World‘s base game map, there should be no shortage of secrets for players to find. We also know that the Frozen Hearth DLC will be adding a new mini-golf activity for players to enjoy with their co-op partners, so that should be fun. It’s unclear if the new DLC will also be adding some fresh achievements for those that have already unlocked all of Nobody Saves the World‘s achievements/trophies, but that should be specified as we get closer to the DLC’s release date next month.

Nobody Saves the World is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. The Frozen Hearth DLC launches September 13 for all platforms.
