Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is currently focusing on the aftermath of Kawaki and Borushiki’s fight. In the recent chapters, we’ve seen Momoshiki saving Boruto by putting his life on the line. Code and Ada realize that Kawaki has gotten incredibly powerful because of his new Karma. So, they don’t interfere with Boruto and Kawaki’s battle; however, Code uses that opportunity to put a claw mark on Shikamaru’s neck.
Later, Code and Ada arrive in the Hidden Leaf Village using the claw, where they confront Amado. Despite Shikamaru’s best efforts, Code and Ada takes Amado to their base, where we also see Daemon. Thanks to some early spoilers, we know that Chapter 71 will feature Amado and Ada’s conversation. Along with that, we’ll see a brief fight between Code and Daemon. However, fans are yet to find out how Amado’s capture would affect Naruto and his son in the Leaf village. The community expects to see Boruto and Kawaki’s reactions to the whole situation in the next month’s chapter. But unfortunately, we won’t get a new chapter of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations in July.
According to Abdul Zoldyck on Twitter, Boruto will take a month-long hiatus after Chapter 71, which is scheduled to release on June 20th, 2022. The manga will resume publication in the October issue of VJump that’ll come out on August 20th, 2022. So, you’ll have to wait two long months to get Chapter 72 of the series.

The recent chapters of Boruto have been nothing short of spectacular in terms of story. We already know that Ada is obsessed with Kawaki, and she can’t let anyone harm the vessel she has chosen. However, Code’s hatred toward Kawaki makes things complicated for Ada. To make things worse, Kawaki has awakened his new Karma, and only Amado has the key to controlling the kid. So, it’s no surprise that Ada took a massive risk going to the Leaf village to capture Amado.
At this point, it’s hard for any fan to predict what will happen in the manga series. Some fans speculate that we’ll soon see a time jump in the series, but it’s hard to say when that will happen. Fortunately, Chapter 71 of Boruto might give us some idea about the upcoming events.
